DESCRIPTION

The work deals with the issue of freedom and how the concept of freedom is felt in relation to riding a motorbike. I researched and was inspired by the construction and design of motorbikes, as well as the lifestyle of motorcyclists, their way of thinking and philosophy of transcendence. The graphic installation I realised is a celestial map of freedom. It is a dialogue between a map of the Earth seen from a bird's eye view and a mirror image of the Earth in the sky. My celestial map symbolically represents human life and the human quest for freedom.
