DESCRIPTION

Information that is smudged. Also open places are invisible if they are devoid of any information background. At the same time, when it may seem that there are too many words, but nevertheless there is no meaning. As a matter of fact, so is what happens in politics. By using the concept of politics as a complex mechanism, I have given it a form resembling a Rubik's cube. I took into account the workings of processes in politics, that is, how helpless we are in front of a huge mechanism in which we are small ants.

The lack of playing
A comparable world where the answers to questions are always so complex and ambiguous that the content of the question is contrastingly changed in the course of these explanations. The meaning becomes blurred. This is exactly how ‘politics’ works. It is a very powerful weapon that has many faces (facets). It is a very complex living organism, eternally hungry, never sleeping, through which many victims pass. It is ruthless and cruel to people who do not even suspect that they are pawns in a very cruel and terrible game. A game that cannot be played fairly against humanity because it lacks mercy, it lacks understanding of simple things, it lacks love for humanity, and most importantly, it lacks humanity.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The work is made in the techniques of intaglio printing - dry point and aquatint.
The Rubik's cube was the inspiration for the project.

ETCHING
Etching is an intaglio printmaking process. To make an impression, a copper or zinc plate coated with an acid-resistant varnish is required. A drawing is made on this plate using a steel needle. The plate is then immersed in a 10% solution of nitric acid, which etches out the material in the areas exposed by the needle. The impression resembles a pen drawing.

DRY POINT
Drypoint is a printmaking technique of the intaglio family. The drawing is made with a fine steel needle on a copper or zinc plate. After the ink is applied with a swab, impressions are printed on etching paper in a concave printing press. As a result of engraving, metal filings are formed on the edges of the drawing, which, holding the paint, ‘soften’ the line. Only a small number of prints can be made with this technique, as the sawdust is quickly crushed during the printing process and the character of the line is lost.
