SOFT VARNISH
Etching technique. On a metal plate covered with a layer of soft varnish and adhering to it with coarse-grained paper, a drawing is made with a pencil or chalk. Then, tearing the paper from the plate, it is removed along with the varnish, glued to the paper, in those places where the drawing was made. The plate is etched with acid and printed.
